Upside Down Art

WALT copy a picture by looking at it upside down.
SC:  I can follow lines, shapes and details.

Matua Faenza glued a picture into our art books upside down. We had to copy the upside down picture onto our book without turning it over. Then I coloured them in.  I found this ok, not to easy but not to hard.  I liked how brains were tricked because we are use to doing it the right way up.  I enjoyed the challenge.

My Basic Facts Graph Term 1

During the week we practise our basic facts for homework. On Fridays we have a
speed test where we have to try and
complete 100 facts under 6 minutes 30 seconds.
This graph shows my scores so far.
I like this because it helps me get myself to stage 7.  I want to practice my basic facts to get 100 out of 100.

Art Portraits

Brody
WALT sketch a face by following grid guidelines to make each feature on the face in proportion.

First we drew a picture of what we thought we looked like.
I thought my before picture wasn’t my best work.

After a few art lessons we learned how to sketch a grid across the shape of our face to help us draw each feature in proportion.

I thought my after picture was awesome and my next step would be to maybe sketch a better hairstyle for myself.
